Promotion brings New Orleans flavors and fun to local diners

BURNSVILLE, Minn. (February 18, 2010)bd’s Mongolian Grill is treating guests to a taste of Southern hospitality by bringing the tastes of the Bayou to diners during its Bourbon Street Bash promotion. Beginning on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 16, the promotion offers special menu items including new drinks, desserts and Louisiana-influenced recipes.

“Hosting Bourbon Street Bash with new Cajun and Creole flavors is a great way to experience bd’s during Mardi Gras,” said Denise Head, vice president of marketing, bd’s Mongolian Grill. “Dining at bd’s Mongolian Grill is all about having fun while creating a delicious, customized meal.”

During Bourbon Street Bash, guests may try several special menu offerings including recipes for Ragin’ Cajun Duck, Andouille and Chicken Ragu and Shrimp Creole. Other new options are Turkey and Sausage Gumbo soup and two new desserts, bread pudding and a chocolate mousse mini dessert with caramel and pecans. A frozen strawberry daiquiri and bd’s hurricane drinks round out the limited time menu.

“These ‘Nawlins’ flavors jazz up our wide array of flavorful ingredients and sauces,” said Head. “We’re thrilled to host our own version of Mardi Gras in our restaurants around the country.”
