1970s Pop Culture Inspires Thought Leadership Opportunity for Premier Mounts.
1977 was a big year for pop culture: Star Wars emerged as a cult classic, and Saturday Night Fever became the epitome of a night out. 1977 is also the year that Premier Mounts was established, with plans to someday be a leader in the A/V industry with an emphasis on mounts.
Just like Luke Skywalker and Tony Manero, Premier Mounts’ Len Dozier labored passionately to realize that dream. Through the evolution of technology over the next 30 years, Len positioned Premier Mounts as a leader in the A/V industry, ensuring that consumers’ valuable flat-panel TV and high-end projector investments were securely mounted.
With the company’s 30th anniversary set to coincide with a major industry trade show, Premier threw a party to celebrate Len as a thought leader and highlight the company’s legacy. A “premier” celebration in the company’s hometown of Anaheim, Calif., RPR helped capture the spirit of Premier and its founder, complete with a groovy '70s theme – from eye-catching lava lamp party invites to retrospective videos and '70s-style media kits.
The party touched the attendees – from employees, to dealers and media – by reinforcing the company’s strong past and present, and looking ahead to a positive future. In true Hollywood style, Premier Mounts’ feel-good event left everyone wanting more.
